The Workshop's mission is to work collaboratively with our campus partners to help them achieve what none can do alone. This is to produce and continuously improve a critical mass of high quality, comprehensive, and pedagogically sophisticated computer mediated instructional (CMI) materials. The Workshop is not, however, a separate Higher Education institution, like the for-profit University of Phoenix, or the not-for-profit Western Governors University. It does not provide direct instruction to students, grant academic credit, issue credentials or award degrees. Students must enroll with one of The Workshop's Campus Partners, in order to secure the benefits of its instructional design expertise, enabling technologies and student support capabilities. © 2007 Distributed Learning Workshop.
